Biannual election of Kaliakair Press Club : Alim-Selim pannel wins

Almost after 39 years, the biannual election of Kaliakair Press Club was held with festive mood on Wednesday morning.
In this election, Sarker Abdul Alim, Correspondent of Daily Jugantor and Selim Hossen Sunny, Correspondent of Daily Manabkantha have been elected President and General Secretary respectively .
Shalom Shikder, Correspondent of Alokito Pratidin elected in the organisational post. Elections are held for 15 members posts in the Press Club. But elections are held for three posts in total where another twelve posts are elected unopposed.
Mainul Shikder,representative of Daily Khabar elected as senior Vice President , D M Saman Uddin, staff reporter of Asian Television as Vice President, as Joint General Secretary Delower Hossain, as Assistant Secretary Sawpon Sarker, as Finance Secretary Nazrul Islam -2, as Office Secretary Nazrul Islam -1, as Publicity and Publication Secretary Moazzem Hossain, as Information and Research Secretary Nasim Kabir Roni, as Social welfare Secretary Mahasin Molla, as Executive member-1 Ayoub Rana, as Executive Member -2 M Mahbub Hasan Mehedi.
