3 trucks seized for illegal soil transportation in Kulaura

A mobile court has seized three trucks in Kulaura for various crimes including illegally cutting soil from cropland, transporting it in an unsafe condition and damaging roads.
An organized gang was illegally cutting and selling soil from the Dildarpur Tea Garden area of Upazila Joychandi Union.
On Wednesday, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Shah Zahurul Alam conducted a drive and seized 3 trucks filled with soil. At that time, 3 more trucks loaded with soil fled after seeing AC Land.
The Executive Magistrate said that complaints of soil cutting from agricultural land were often received from different parts of Joychandi. In continuation of this, a drive was conducted in the area adjacent to Dildarpur Tea Garden on Wednesday morning based on secret information.
At that time, 3 trucks filled with soil were seized. The trucks are seized. A fine will be imposed if the owner is found.
