A three day long Food and product exhibition inaugurated in Sylhet in a colorful arrangement on Paush morning.

Former Mayor of Sylhet City Corporation Ariful Haque Chowdhury inaugurated this exhibition at Kabi Nazrul Auditorium square in Rikabibazar in Sylhet on Friday (December 27) morning. Representatives of culture and conscious society of Sylhet were also present the inaguration ceremony.

Organized by the Soil Youth Forum and with the overall support of Foodies Group Sylhet, this exhibition will have stalls of about 40 entrepreneurial organizations of Sylhet. The three-day exhibition will be open to everyone. After the inauguration, former Mayor of SCC Ariful Haque Chowdhury visited the exhibition with the guests.

During this time, he visited the various stalls and talked to the entrepreneurs about business issues. He also ate some pithas from the traditional pitha stalls of Sylhet.After the visit, he told "I not only visited, but also tasted the pitha. Even if no one comes here, they will understand what kind of quality pitha our women entrepreneurs make. Those who come to visit will be able to get new ideas. That way, they can make it themselves."he also said, "Our women entrepreneurs have come a long way. If they come to such a platform, they will have the opportunity to take themselves further. Those who order and buy things sitting at home can also come here and see at a glance what products they will order." he also said that if the marketing of products made by women entrepreneurs can be made more dynamic, a huge amount of employment will be created along with industrial production.

Former mayor of SCC Ariful Haque Chowdhury assured that a training workshop will be implemented soon at the city's Shahi Eidgah with the participation of women entrepreneurs in Sylhet.

Selina Chowdhury, publisher of Sylhet Voice, said, "I am also an entrepreneur and a culinary artist. Such exhibitions are always held in Sylhet. In such exhibitions, entrepreneurs get the opportunity to present their products to buyers.

Specially those who do business online, when they hear about such exhibitions or fairs, they spontaneously participate there." She also said, "In order to make women entrepreneurs work-oriented, it is important to organize such fairs as well as take training measures. In that case, they will be able to keep themselves busy in good work and develop themselves by making them earn money and will make an important contribution to the country's economy."
