The 119th annual Urs Sharif of the renowned Ali-e-Kamel of Pak Indian Subcontinent, the founder of the spiritual virtue of Maizbhandar Darbar Sharif and the promoter of the Maizbhandari Tariqa in Bangladesh, Gausul Azam Hazrat Maulana Shahsufi Syed Ahmad Ullah Maizbhandari (A.S.) will be held on 10 Magh (January 24).

Since 2-3 days ago, Mizvander Sharif has become busy with the arrival of lakhs of devotees from home and abroad. Today Thursday morning at 10 am Sajjadanshin of Gauchia Ahmadiya (Shah Emdadiya) Manzil Syed Emdadal Haque Maizbhandari (M.G.A) and at 3 pm in Darbare-Sajjadanshin of Gauchia Ahmadiya Manzil Dr. Syed Didarul Haque Maizbhandari (M.G.A.), Syed Munirul Haque Maizbhandari (RA) Shahjadadway Muntazem Sajjadanshin Syed Ahmad Hossain Shahriar Maizbhandari (MA) and Syed Sajjad Hossain Sohail Maizbhandari (MA), will start the main ceremony of Orsh by spreading Gosal Sharif and Gilaf at Mazar Sharif.

Tomorrow Friday at 12:00 PM and 01:00 AM, the Urs ceremony will end with the final prayer of the Shajjadanshined of Swa Swa Manjil. On this occasion, Fatikchari Upazila administration and Fatikchari Thana Police have strengthened extensive security measures.

Visiting Maizvander Sharif yesterday, it was seen that like every year, a huge fair was held in the 3/4 mile area of Maizvander Sharif on the occasion of 10th Magh Maizvander Sharif. It includes agricultural products, cottage industry products, rural products, Dala, Kula Da, Pita making various chacha, Bangles, Bashi toys, Mola-Ora.

Fatikchari UNO Mozammel Haque Chowdhury said, on the occasion of Maizvander Orsh, a mobile court consisting of an executive magistrate is always patrolling for decisions on important issues including close-circuit cameras and video recording, product price control.
