102 police officers promoted as additional SP

The government has promoted 102 officers from the BCS (Police) cadre to the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police.
The Ministry of Home Affairs' Public Security Division (Police-1 branch) issued a notification on Wednesday (February 26).
The notification, signed by Deputy Secretary Md Mahbubur Rahman on behalf of the President, said that the promoted officers must join through the proper authority and report to the Senior Secretary of the Public Security Division.
The order has been issued in the public interest and will take effect immediately, read the notification.
