Rajshahi is situated by the Padma River. This city is burdened with the beauty of which. Although the river is often blessed, the region is somewhat flooded during the heavy monsoon season. Some areas of Charghat-Bagha upazila of the district have been flooded.

 Charghat UNO  Jannatul Ferdous is working for disaster area over the upazila. 

UNO is assisting the helpless people of various areas including Gopalpur, Pirojpur, Yusuppur, Kakramari of the upazila. There was no heavy rainfall in Rajshahi during the current monsoon season. 

However, due to the water of the Padma river, the water of the Padma river is close to the danger limits. Godagari, Paba, Charghat and Bagha upazilas of the district are bordered by the river Padma. Due to the increase in the water of the river, some of the settlements of Charghat Upazila have been waterlogged in area.
