Bangladeshi porn star couple arrested from Bandarban

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the police has arrested a celebrity couple from Bandarban on charges of creating and distributing obscene content in connection with an international pornography website operated from Bangladesh.
They were arrested late on Sunday night from the house of contractor Sentu Mintu, adjacent to Rowangchhari Bus Station in Bandarban Sadar.
CID Superintendent of Police Jasim Uddin Khan confirmed their arrest.
Additional Superintendent of Police of Bandarban District Police Md. Abdul Karim confirmed the matter and said that there was an arrest warrant against the couple in a case filed under the Pornography Act. The CID's Dhaka team arrested them with the assistance of Bandarban Police.
He said the couple regularly uploaded porn content to a foreign website. The channel they ran rose to the top of one of the world's most popular porn sites.
Eyewitnesses said, "We saw a few police and CID cars in front of this house at night. The law enforcement officers moved us away. From a distance, we saw police and CID members taking a man and a woman from the fifth floor of this building in a car." The star couple has not rented a flat on the fifth floor of this building since the first of this month.
Investigations revealed that they were recording, editing and uploading videos from Bangladesh and were earning huge amounts of money through this. The star couple is trying to attract Bangladeshi youth by regularly uploading porn content on foreign websites.
