
Sheikh Russel's 60th birth anniv celebrated at LGED

The 60th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's youngest son Sheikh Russel was celebrated at LGED on Wednesday.
On the occasion of the Day, a coloirful rally was held in the morning led by LGED Chief Engineer Md. Ali Akhtar Hossain with the participation of all levels of officers and employees. Later, all levels of officers and employees including the chief engineer of LGED paid tribute to the portrait of Sheikh Russell at LGED.
In the morning, senior officials of LGED and Directorate of Public Health Engineering paid tribute to the portrait of Sheikh Russel in the presence of LGRD Minister in the Directorate of Public Health Engineering. Milad Mahfil and prayers are held at LGED's Central Mosque after Zohar.
In the afternoon, the chief engineer of LGED paid respect to the grave of Sheikh Russel at Banani graveyard in the city and prayed for the forgiveness of his soul. Senior officials of LGED were present.
