The monthly crime review meeting for July 2025 was held in the conference room of the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Headquarters on Wednesday.
The meeting was presided over by the honorable Police Commissioner of RMP Mohammad Abu Sufian.
The overall law and order situation of the metropolis was discussed in detail. The Commissioner emphasized the importance of addressing juvenile crime, anti-narcotics drives, actions against extortion and illegal occupation, and the execution of arrest warrants.
By analyzing crime statistics of July 2025, the meeting evaluated the effectiveness of measures taken in August and set practical and effective strategies for the upcoming period.
During the meeting, Police Commissioner Mohammad Abu Sufian honored SI (Unarmed) Md. Sadekur Rahman and ASI (Unarmed) Md. Anwar Hossain with commemorative crests for securing first place in overall performance evaluation from May to July 2025.
In addition, 10 police officers were awarded monetary prizes based on their performance. They are: TSI Md. Azadul Islam, Sergeant Sohel Hasan Shanto, SI (Unarmed) Md. Abdul Karim, SI (Unarmed) Md. Shah Alam, SI (Unarmed) Md. Abdul Hakim Sarkar, SI (Unarmed) Md. Mostak Ahmed, SI (Unarmed) Md. Faruk Ahmed, SI (Unarmed) Md. Shahabuddin-Al-Faruk, SI (Unarmed) Zakir Hossain and SI (Unarmed) Md. Mizanur Rahman
Also present at the meeting were Additional Police Commissioner (Crime) Nazmul Hasan, PPM; Deputy Police Commissioner (Headquarters), recently promoted to Additional DIG, Mohammad Khorshed Alam, PPM; along with senior RMP officials and representatives from various law enforcement agencies.
