World Population Day observed in Gaibandha

On the occasion of the celebration of World Population Day, various programs were observed on Monday with the joint initiative of Gaibandha District Administration and Family Planning Department.
The program included discussion meetings, best workers, crests and certificates among the organization. The theme of the day was the preferred family in the fair and possible world, the need to empower the youth. Deputy Commissioner Chowdhury Moazzam Ahmed was the chief guest.
Deputy Director of the Gaibandha Family Planning Department at the District Art Academy Auditorium. Civil Surgeon Dr. spoke at the meeting chaired by Tariqul Islam. Md. Rafiquzzaman, Sadar Upazila Medical Officer Sharmista Rani Barman, Sadar Police Ferry in -charge Belal Hossain. Dr. performed the ceremony. Md. Atiqur Rahman Khan.
From seven upazilas of the district, 4 best staff and 5 organizations were selected for significant contribution to family planning, mother-child health and adolescent reproductive health activities. At the end, the chief guest distributed crests and certificates among the best staff and 5 organizations.
