Workshop on reporting for journalists held in Kurigram

A training workshop for district-level print and electronic media workers on gender-sensitive reporting during disasters was held last Wednesday morning at Kurigram Terre Dates Home Hall Room.
At this time, Farooq Ahmed Talukder, editor of Ajkaler Khabar, Syed Ashraf Ul Islam, communication and media specialist of the Directorate of Investment Management, Wahida Yasmin, women's affairs advisor of the Lighthouse, Zakir Hussain, former editor of Dhaka Reporters Unity and focal person of the Lighthouse, Project Manager Monirul Islam, Project Director Jahangir Alam, and journalists from various electronic and print media spoke under the chairmanship of Md. Harun Or Rashid.
During the training workshop, speakers discussed the purpose of the training and the issues involved in reporting during disasters.
