Woman found shot dead on Dhaka-Mawa expressway

The body of an unidentified woman, who was shot dead, has been recovered from the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Munshiganj.
Five bullet casings and a motorcycle were found at the scene, and police suspect the woman was shot at close range.
The body was discovered early on Saturday morning in the service lane of the expressway near Dogachi in the Sreenagar area, according to Additional Superintendent of Police (Sreenagar Circle) Md Anisur Rahman.
Despite using fingerprint technology, police were unable to identify the approximately 25-year-old woman.
Locals reported seeing the woman roaming along the highway with a young man and witnessing a heated argument between them.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and efforts are underway to identify the woman, ASP Anusur said.
Investigations and legal proceedings are ongoing.
