View exchange meeting held with DC in Bauphal

A view exchange meeting was held in Bauphal upazila of Patuakhali between the Deputy Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Shahid Hossain Chowdhury and upazila-level government officials, public representatives, student representatives, members of the civil society, journalists, freedom fighters, and other dignitaries at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday in the Upazila Parishad auditorium.
The newly appointed Deputy Commissioner of Patuakhali, Dr. Mohammad Shahid Hossain Chowdhury, attended the meeting as the chief guest.
In his speech, he said that the district administration, upazila administration, and the police department are working as representatives of the government for the welfare of the people.
He further said, “We will tackle issues like drugs, illegal land occupation, and social disorders in accordance with the law. If we can ensure a well-organized and disciplined system, we will be able to progress in every sector.”
The meeting was presided over by UNO Aminul Islam.
Among others, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Abdur Rauf, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sohag Hasan Milu, OC Akhtaruzzaman Sarkar, freedom fighter Kawsar Hossain, Upazila BNP Member Secretary Apel Mahmud, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Bauphal Upazila Maulana Rafiqul Islam, President of Bauphal Press Club Jalilur Rahman, and President of the Primary Teachers’ Association Bauphal Upazila Branch Kamruzzaman Khan Firoz spoke.
