The verification process for teacher transfer applications against vacant posts in government primary schools across Nilphamari Sadar upazila is set to begin on Thursday morning at the conference room of the Upazila Nirbahi Officer.

According to the Upazila Primary Education Office, a meeting of the upazila-level government primary school assistant teacher transfer committee was held on July 29 under the chairmanship of UNO Mubashshira Amatullah. Following extensive discussions on transfer policies, applications were invited addressed to the committee president between August 2 and August 16.

Education office data indicates that a total of 39 applications were received by the August 16 deadline. Database preparation for these applications is currently underway, and verification will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday. Appointment orders will subsequently be issued in favor of eligible candidates in accordance with policy guidelines.

Offline transfer activities had previously remained suspended pending further instructions, but processes resumed on July 30 in Nilphamari Sadar as the first upazila in the district to initiate teacher placement against vacant posts.

Upazila Primary Education Officer Md. Jasizul Alam Mondal stated that transfer orders will be completed with 100 percent transparency adhering to government policies. General teachers have praised the initiative, noting that it will spare educators from the complexities and harassment of online transfer procedures.

Additionally, the upazila education office noted that assistant teachers previously attached to various offices are being returned to their respective schools with the notification of the District Primary Education Officer. This step aims to ensure educational quality and align with the seven core steps and standards set by the State Minister for Primary and Mass Education.
