Unidentified young man's body recovered from Meghna River in Munshiganj

Police have recovered the body of an unidentified young man from the Meghna River in Gazaria, Munshiganj.
The body was recovered on Thursday afternoon from the Meghna River near Nayanagar village in Gazaria Union. The information was confirmed by Mahbub Alam, in charge of the Gazaria River Police Outpost.
According to eyewitness sources, local fishermen spotted a floating body in the river while fishing in the morning near Nayanagar village. They immediately informed the Gazaria River Police, who then arrived at the scene, retrieved the body, and brought it to the police outpost.
Mahbub Alam, In- charge of the Gazaria River Police said, the decomposed body of a young man, approximately 18-20 years old and unclothed, was recovered. Efforts are underway to determine his identity. After completing legal procedures, the body will be sent to Munshiganj Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
