
UN chief Guterres leaves Dhaka

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres boarded a flight at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to leave Dhaka at 9.50am Sunday.
He reached the airport on Thursday afternoon for a four-day tour of Bangladesh on the invitation of Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus.

On Friday, he visited Rohingya refugee camps in Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar, and had iftar with about one lakh refugees.
On Saturday, he held talks in three sessions with the UN Bangladesh country team, political parties and with youth representatives.
On Saturday afternoon, he joined a joint press briefing with Foreign Adviser Touhid Hossain.
