Moheshkhali police arrested two suspects in nearly a dozen cases including murder, abduction, rape, child abuse, extortion, and robbery on Saturday.
Based on secret information, a team from the Moheshkhali police arrested the notorious terrorists Ansar Ullah and Delwar Hossain from Cox's Bazar Sadar.
According to their confession, the terrorists Ansar Ullah and Delwar Hossain's hideout in Kalarmarchhara was raided, and a locally made LG, fresh cartridges, and various equipment were recovered.
Recently, terrorists Ansar Ullah and Delwar Hossain showcased their weapons through a video call from their hideout deep in the Kalarmarchhara hills. The video of that notorious weapon display went viral on social media immediately.
Since that time, the Moheshkhali police became desperate to apprehend the two notorious terrorists. In the course of the operation, on the night of 29 August, based on secret information, after their arrest, weapons and fresh cartridges were recovered according to their confession.
This has been confirmed by the investigating officer of Moheshkhali police, Pratul Kumar Seal.
OC of Moheshkhali police, Manzurul Haque said, the police had been continuously conducting operations to arrest the two notorious terrorists. Finally, they have been arrested with weapons and cartridges. There are numerous cases against them.
