Two patrol vehicles donated to Ashulia Thana

A discussion meeting was held in Jamgora, Ashulia, to discuss measures for curbing drugs, terrorism, extortion, eve-teasing, and ensuring overall law and order in the area.
Member of Parliament for Dhaka-19 (Savar-Ashulia), Dr. Dewan Md. Salauddin Babu, attended the event as the chief guest. Former Vice Chairman of Savar Upazila Parishad, Dewan Md. Moinuddin Biplob, was present as the special guest. The meeting was chaired by Dhaka District Police Superintendent Shamima Parveen.
Among others, Savar UNO Saiful Islam, senior police officials, representatives of local business establishments, and distinguished community members attended the meeting.
Addressing the gathering, the speakers stressed the need for coordinated efforts between law enforcement agencies and local residents to eliminate drugs, terrorism, extortion, and eve-teasing from the Jamgora area. They also highlighted the importance of maintaining discipline on highways and announced that necessary measures would be taken to prevent the movement of auto-rickshaws on major roads in order to reduce traffic congestion and road accidentd.
During the meeting, it was announced that no accused involved in the student-public murder cases in Savar and Ashulia would be allowed to roam freely. Police have been instructed to take strict action and arrest the accused whenever they are identified.
On the occasion, two vehicles were donated to strengthen the operational activities and regular patrol duties of the Jamgora Police Camp. The vehicles were provided by Rose Garments and Skyline Group as part of their support for community safety and law enforcement initiatives. The keys of the vehicles were formally handed over to Ashulia Police Station OC Tarikul Islam.
The meeting concluded with a call for active public participation and cooperation to build a safe, peaceful, and crime-free society.
