Two more devotees die in Ijtema, death toll rises to 7

Two more devotees passed away on the first day of the second phase of Ijtema on Monday. With this, the death toll during the congregation reached seven so far.
One of the deceased, Amir Hossain, 65, a resident of Moksedpur in Gopalganj, died at 11:00pm yesterday. His namaz-e-janaza was held after Fajr prayers today.
Reason behind his death could not be known immediately.
Another devotee, Saiful Islam, 48, from Madhabdi, Narsingdi, breathed his last at 6:35pm due to heart disease.
Habibullah Raihan, media coordinator of Tablighi Jamaat Bangladesh's Shura Nezam, confirmed the news.
With these latest deaths, the number of devotees who have passed away has now reached seven, he said.
