Two impersonators posing as journalists detained at National Martyrs' Memorial by Ansar

Vigilant guards from the Bangladesh Ansar and VDP detained two individuals who forcibly entered the National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar during restricted hours by falsely identifying themselves as television journalists.
The incident occurred at around 8:30 AM on Monday, at the main entry gate of the National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar, Dhaka.
According to official sources, public entry into the memorial premises is prohibited before 10:00 AM. When Ansar member Ibrahim Khalil stopped the duo at the gate, they claimed to be journalists from private news channel Channel 24. Disregarding security protocol and the guard's prohibition, the pair forcibly pushed past security into the compound and began video recording various sections of the state installation.
Ansar member Ibrahim Khalil immediately alerted PC Md. Zakir Islam via mobile phone. The duty officers responded to the spot, intercepted the individuals, and interrogated them. Failing to obtain satisfactory answers regarding their identity or authorization, the Ansar team escorted them to the National Martyrs' Memorial authority for verification.
Upon checking credentials, memorial authorities confirmed that neither individual was affiliated with the news organization. Following the realization, authorities obtained written and video-recorded confessions alongside signed undertakings promising not to repeat such unauthorized entry before releasing them.
