Two drug peddlers held with hemp in Kurigram

Police arrested two drug peddlers along with hemp at Fulbaria in Kurigram district on Friday.
The arrested were Azizul Islam, 49, and Ahad Ali, 60, residents of Onontopur village in the upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Fulbari Police Station conducted a raid in the afternoon at Amtali Bazar and arrested the duo with three kilograms hemp, said the police station officer-in-charge Prankrshna Debnath.
He said the attested were sent to jail after filing a case against them under the Narcotics Control Control Act.
