Two-day crystallographic confce held at DU

Dhaka University Physics Department and Bangladesh Crystallographic Association jointly organized the two-day 8th Crystallographic Conference.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal inaugurated the conference as the chief guest in the auditorium of Physics dmDepartment on Friday evening.
President of Bangladesh Crystallographic Association Prof. Dr. Altaf Hossain presided over the opening ceremony of the Dean of the Faculty of Science. Md. Abdus Chamad and Dean of the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences Professor Dr. Md. Professor Dr. Jillur Ron Department Chairperson. Supriya Saha and General Secretary of Bangladesh Crystallographic Association Professor Dr. Mohammad Mizanur Rahman.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maqsood Kamal expressed sincere thanks to the organizers of the conference and said that the more importance is given to higher education and research at the university level, the more prosperous the country is in all respects. Gbeni stressed the importance of fundamentals in the development of the country. The Vice-Chancellor appealed to the teachers, researchers and students to contribute to the economic development of the country through education and research by strengthening the industry-academia relationship. 34 posters and students participated in the conference.
