Two arrested with foreign pistol, liquor in Munshiganj

In a coordinated joint operation by the army, district NSI Munshiganj, and police, two individuals were arrested from the Char Kawaria Union of Sadar Upazila with a foreign-made pistol, four locally made weapons (including a machete, ramdao, knife, and spear), and three bottles of foreign liquor along with phensedyl.
The operation took place in the Bhiti Hogla area from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM on early Sunday.
Sources confirmed that the arrested individuals are two brothers — Mizan Bepari (40) and Farid Bepari (50), sons of Abdus Salam Bepari from Bhiti Hogla area. Another person, Jakir Dewan (45), was detained for questioning during the operation.
Munshiganj Sadar Police Station OC M. Saiful Alam stated that legal procedures are underway against the arrestees.
