Turkish Ambassador to Dhaka Mr. Ramis Sen met Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu MP at the Secretariat on Sunday morning.
During the meeting, the Minister expressed his sincere gratitude to the government and people of Turkey for spontaneously providing humanitarian assistance to the Rohingya people who were forcibly displaced from their homeland. The Minister expressed hope that the brotherly relations between the two countries of the Muslim Ummah will further strengthen in the coming days.
The Minister expected further cooperation from Turkey in the development of disaster management, including early warning systems, cyclone shelters, and lightning protection technology.
