Truck loaded with wheat set on fire on highway in Sirajganj during hartal

Miscreants set fire to a truck loaded with wheat in Sirajganj on Bogra highway in Dhaka during a 48-hour nationwide hartal called by BNP-Jamaat.
Miscreants escaped by setting fire to the North Bengal-bound truck in Konabari area of Kamarkhand upazila late on Sunday.
OC of Bangabandhu Setu West Police Station Abdul Quader Jilani confirmed the matter and said that when a truck loaded with wheat from Dhaka to North Bengal reached the Konabari area of the highway, miscreants set it on fire and escaped.
Later the patrolling team went to the spot and tried to douse the fire and informed the fire service.Fire service rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire.Attempts are being made to identify those who started the fire.
Earlier, miscreants set fire to a cargo truck in Jhaul over bridge area of the same upazila on Thursday (November 9) morning.The driver filed a case against him in the incident.
