Three buses torched in Dhaka ahead of blockade

The incidents occurred at night in different areas of Dhaka between 10:30pm and 11pm on Saturday (Dec 2).Pro-blockade elements set fire to buses in Sayedabad, Gabtali, and Agargaon areas of the capital. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incidents.
BNP activists went on a rampage on Oct 28 during the party’s rally in Dhaka. They attacked the residence of the chief justice, killed a policeman, injured dozens of cops and journalists, and vandalised and torched vehicles.
Party secretary general Fakhrul then ended the rally by announcing a hasty hartal.
