Teenager killed in tempu-easybike collision in Boalkhali

Boalkhali CNG-powered tempu and battery-powered easybike lost their lives in a head-on collision. A teenager named Simon (15). The accident happened on Friday at around 4:30 in the morning at Raikhali Bridge area of Arakan road in the upazila.
The deceased Simon is the son of deceased Noor Quader of Charkhizirpur village, Ward No. 9 of Paschim Gomdandi Union of Upazila.
Eyewitnesses said that the battery-powered easybike, on its way from Shakpura on Arakan road to Gomdandi Phultal, collided head-on with a reverse-engined CNG-powered Tempu (Chatto Metro-Ch 05063) in front of the Janga Talukdar Para gate of Raikhali Bridge. Easybike driver Simon died on the spot.
OC of Boalkhali police station Golam Sarwar said that the police recovered the body of the deceased and seized the two vehicles involved in the accident. He said, legal action is being taken in this regard.
