The Sylhet Divisional Committee of the Journalist Society for Human Rights has been formed on Saturday.
The organization’s Central Committee Chairman, Advocate Mohammad Monir Hossain, approved the Sylhet Divisional Committee.
The newly- approved 21-member committee includes: President: Journalist M. Ijazul Haque Ijaz, Executive President: Sarwar Jahan (The Country Today), Vice President: Md. Kajol Mia General Secretary: Syed Munimul Hasan Adil Joint General Secretary: Md. Shahedur Rahman, Organizing Secretary: Abu Khaled Chowdhury Sadi, Investigation Secretary: Abdul Hamid Majnu, Law Secretary: Advocate Kabir Ahmed, International Affairs Secretary: Mohammad Ibrahim, Women Affairs Secretary: Rafia Khatun, Finance Secretary: Md. Abu Bakar Siddiqi, Social Welfare Secretary: F. M. Swapon, Office Secretary: Md. Matiur Rahman Matin and Cultural Secretary: Akhtar Hossain Members: Md. Khorsru Mia, Nurul Asin Khan, A. F. M. Rezaul Kabir, S. R. Chowdhury Selim, Md. Misbah Uddin Angur, Md. Hazrat Ali.
