Sushant Das Gupta of Habiganj becomes CIP

Sushant Das Gupta, editor and publisher of Dainik Amar Habiganj, has been selected as the Commercially Important Person (CIP) in the category of Most Foreign Exchange Remitters in 2023 through legitimate channels in recognition of his significant contribution to the economy of Bangladesh. Sushant Das Gupta is the highest foreign currency sender among other foreign currency remitters in legal channels in 2023.
This information was revealed in a government-issued notification signed by Deepak Kumar Roy, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Expatriates and Foreign Employment last Wednesday (December 20).
In the copy given to 23 people including the secretaries of the Council of Ministers, it is mentioned that the use of VIP Lounge-2 'Chameli' at the airport, he will receive the honor of civil reception in all the national events of Bangladesh, including the members of the State Policy Determination Committee.
Sushant Das Gupta is a native of Sunaru village of Subidpur union of Baniachang upazila of Habiganj district. He is the editor and publisher of Dainik Amar Habiganj, a widely circulated popular newspaper of Habiganj.
