Students organizes protest march against rapists in Sakhipur

In protest against recent incidents of rape and violence against women, a protest march was organized by general students at Sakhipur, Shariatpur on Tuesday morning.
The march started from Sakhipur Bazaar and paraded through various streets. Students from schools and colleges, along with people from different walks of life, participated in the demonstration.
Speakers at the event said, “Rapists must be given exemplary punishment. We will no longer tolerate insecurity for women. Our movement will continue until justice is served.”
During the protest, students chanted slogans such as “A rapist’s place is in prison,” “Stop violence against women,” and “Ensure my sister’s safety.”
Local leaders and guardians also expressed solidarity with the demonstrators during the human chain and protest rally. The protesters demanded that offenders be punished swiftly
