Students, people firmed to protect land of madrasa in Rupganj

The students and the crowd held a human chain program to protect the land of Ahmadiyya Fazil Madrasa of Majhina Mauza in Rupganj, Narayganj. He held this program in front of the madrasa on Ichakhali-Nagarpara road at 10 am on Monday. Traffic was stopped for an hour.
The speakers in the human chain said that some local land grabbers are trying to grab 12 percent of the Madrasa land worth Tk. For the last 50 years, madrasas have been occupying the land.
He announced a more stringent program against the Bhoomidyus. Madrasah Principal Mufti Alamgir Hossain Ansari, Asian TV Journalist Shahidullah Gazi, Habibur Rahman Habib, Rafiqul Islam Rafiq, Imran Hossain and Naeem Ahmed, leaders of the Discrimination Student Movement and others were present in the program.
