
SSC, Dakhil, equivalent exams held peacefully in Manda

Like the rest of the country, the SSC, Dakhil, and equivalent examinations were held peacefully on Thursday at Manda upazila in Naogaon.
Under the Rajshahi Education Board, the examinations was held in seven centres across Manda upazila—Manda SC Pilot High School, Koyapara Kamarkuri High School, Gotgari Shaheed Mamun Government High School and College, Sahapur DA High School, Manda Thana Adarsha Girls' School and College, Jot Bazar Adarsha Girls' School, and Kalikapur Chokkalikapur High School and College. A total of 3,560 candidates sat for the Bangla First Paper exam under SSC and SSC (Vocational) categories, out of 4,154 registered candidates, with 50 students marked absent.
On the other hand, under the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board, 639 candidates appeared for the Quran Majid and Tajweed examination on the first day at two separate exam centres—Reba Akhtar Alim Madrasa and Kalikapur Alim Madrasa. A total of 690 candidates were registered at those centres, with 51 students absent.
According to the respective centre secretaries and exam-related officials, the environment inside and outside the exam centres remained peaceful throughout the examination period.
