Siddiqur Rahman wins in Natore-4 Constituency with boat symbol

Awami League nominated candidate for Natore-4 (Gurdaspur-Baraigram) seat in the 12th National Parliament Election Alhaj Dr. Md. Siddiqur Rahman Patwari won by getting 1 lakh 13 thousand 582 votes in boat mark symbol.
His nearest rival Asif bin Quddus Shovan got 90 thousand 748 votes in truck mark symbol.
The difference between their votes was 22 thousand 834. The total number of voters in 167 centers in this seat was four lakh twenty thousand. Natore Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Abu Nasser Bhuiyan announced the result on Sunday night.
Dr. Md. Siddiqur Rahman Patwari received the boat symbol and was elected in the 12th National Parliament election on January 7, in the 11th National Parliament by-election on the 11th October 2023, in the upazila parishad by-election in 2017 and in the full-term election of the upazila parishad in 2019.
Despite party opposition, he won the boat symbol for the fourth time and strengthen the hand of the Prime Minister.
