Awami League nominated candidate ADM Shahidul Islam has violated election code of conducts in Sherpur 3 (Jhenaigati-Shrivardi) Constituency.

Supporters of independent candidate SM Abdullahel Wares Naeem said that although there is a rule for candidates to carry out public relations after receiving the quota according to the rules, Awami League nominated candidate ADM Shahidul Islam has been campaigning in 17 unions of two upazilas in violation of Nirbani code of conduct. In this case independent candidate Jhenaigati Upazila Awami League President SM Abdullahel Warez Naim and his supporters respect the law.
The election campaign news of Awami League candidate ADM Shahidul Islam is going viral on social media. In this regard, General Secretary of Jhenaigati Upazila Awami League Mr. Biswajit Roy said that Awami League will not be able to complete the field preparation within the time available after receiving the allotment of a major political party. Therefore, village-to-village meetings are being held.
