Shahidullah Hall becomes champion in DU's inter-hall debate competition

Dhaka University Debating Society (DUDS) organized the 'Inter-Hall Debating Competition 2023' champion. Muhammad Shahidullah Hall Debating Club becomes champion and the runner-up is Zia Hall Debating Club.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal attended the prize distribution ceremony of this competition organized in Professor Muzaffar Ahmed Chowdhury Auditorium yesterday evening on 10th December 2023 and distributed the prizes among the winners.
President of DUDS. Mahbubur Rahman Masum chaired the prize distribution ceremony, DUDS Chief Moderator Professor Dr. Mahbooba Nasreen and University Proctor Prof. Dr. Md. Maksudur Rahman spoke as a special guest. DUDS general secretary Fuad Hossain conducted the program.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal congratulated all the debaters who won and participated in the inter-hall debate competition and said that the correct solution comes out through discussion and criticism on various issues through debate practice. Calling upon students to be involved in debate practice to develop themselves as rational people, the Vice-Chancellor said that debate practice in various departments and institutes should be made more dynamic and for this purpose all kinds of cooperation will be provided by the university.
