Shahed, Mamo in Abul Hayat’s drama

National Film Award and Ekushey Padak-winning actor, director and writer Abul Hayat has made a new drama titled “Shila Brishtir Shorbot”. Popular actor Shahed Sharif Khan and National Film Award-winning artiste Zakia Bari Mamo have played two important roles in the play.
The shooting of the project has already been completed at Nokkhottrobari Resort in the capital.
Besides Shahed and Mamo, Chitralekha Guho, Abdul Bari, Sheli Ahsan and others will be seen in the play.
About the drama, Abul Hayat said, “Normally, I make dramas centering on special festivals. The drama ‘Shila Brishtir Shorbot’ is based on Rabeya Khatun apa’s story.
The story is completely different. Everyone of this drama, have tried their level best to portray themselves according to the characters. Shahed and Mamo have done their job in the lead roles perfectly. To be honest, Shahed is a very good actor and he is more serious while working on my plays. Mamo is also a talented actress. I hope the audience will enjoy the drama very much.”
The drama will be aired on Channel i soon. It may be mentioned that, Shahed Sharif Khan is the husband of Abul Hayat’s younger daughter Natasha Hayat.
Meanwhile, Khinjir Hayat Khan-directed film “Ora 7 Jon” starring Mamo is now also available on an OTT platform.
Mamo first acted in the movie “Daruchini Dwip” directed by Tauquir Ahmed. She was nominated for the first National Film Award by acting in it. After that, Mom came into discussion by acting in Shihab Shaheen’s movie “Chuye Dile Mon”.
