Shabnur’s look from ‘Rangana’ unveiled

Shabnur, one of the most popular Dhallywood actors of the 90s, has garnered immense appreciation for her powerful performances over the years. The star is all set to return to acting after a long break through the film “Rangana”, directed by Arafat Hossain.
In the meantime, the first look poster of “Rangana” was unveiled on Friday. Shabnur is seen in three different avatars in the poster. In one look, her face is covered in mask and a fire of revenge in her eyes. In other pictures, this actress is smiling with flowers in her hand, and in another picture she has a pistol in her hand.
However, about Shabnur’s character, the makers want to keep it a mystery.
Arafat Hossain said, “The movie will be made in a women centric story. Shabnur has been associated with “Rangana” a long time ago. Now she is preparing for shooting. If everything goes well, the shooting will begin at the end of February. The film will be released in theaters on one of the two Eid festivals this year.”
Neither the actress nor the director has given any clue who will act opposite Shabnur in the movie. The director informed that it will be announced soon.
There are three songs in “Rangana”. The songs are penned by National Film Award winning lyricist Kabir Bakul. Popular singer Imran Mahmudul will sing and compose music for two songs.
The story of the movie is written by the director himself. The screenplay and dialogues are done by Tonmoy Muktadir.
