Selling of foreign liquor, beer on boat at Niladri tourist spot

A syndicate was selling foreign liquor and beer to tourists on a boat at the Niladri tourist spot in Tahirpur, Sunamganj.
Upon receiving information, the BGB conducted a raid. Sensing the raid, members of the syndicate fled, leaving the boat behind. Later, liquor and beer were seized from that boat.
These details were shared on Sunday by the media cell of the Sunamganj-28 Battalion of the Sylhet Sector BGB.
According to the BGB, the patrol team of the Tekergarh Company Headquarters in Tahirpur seized the consignment along with the boat.
The value of the seized boat (bargee), various brands of foreign liquor, and beer is approximately one lakh twenty thousand taka.
