
Salman F Rahman starts campaign in Dhaka-1 Constituency after receiving election symbol

Salman Fazlur Rahman, the nominated candidate of Awami League for Dhaka-1 seat of the upcoming National Parliament election, has started public relations in his area after receiving the party symbol (boat).
On Tuesday (December 19) from 10 o'clock, Salman F. Rahman held mass communication and election yard meeting with his party leaders and workers in Muksudpur, Narisha Union, Joypara and Doha Municipality areas of Doha-1 Constituency.
In Narisha-Meghula, Joypara and municipal areas, motorists, pedestrians, shopkeepers and some places in the area exchanged greetings with voters and urged them to vote with the boat symbol.
Dhaka District Awami League General Secretary Paniruzzaman Tarun, Doha Upazila Awami League President and Doha Upazila Parishad Chairman Md. Alamgir Hossain, General Secretary Md. Nurul Haque Bepari, Doha Municipal Mayor and Upazila Awami League Vice President Md. Almach were also present. Uddin, former General Secretary Ali Ahsan Khokon Shikder, Central Youth Awami League Joint Editor Anar Koli Putul, Upzella Women Vice Chairman Shamima Islam Bithi, UP chairmen and Union Awami League and organizational leaders and activists.
According to locals , the voters of Doha and Nawabganj upazilas will once again see the competition of Salman Fazlur Rahman and Salma Islam among the contestants from Dhaka-1 seat in the 12th National Parliament Election. It is known from local sources that while talking to representatives of Awami League's boat and Jatiya Party's plow to get symbol allocation in Dhaka-1 seat, there is an impression that this time the fight will be fought in boat-boat.
In the office of Dhaka Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer seven valid candidates of Dhaka-1 seat were given symbols on Monday.

Sheikh Mohammad Ali, Sang-Katakhali, Po:-Jaipara, Doha Municipality, Dhaka is contesting on behalf of the People Front Party. On behalf of Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP) Samsuzzaman Chowdhury Sang-Uttar Joypara Miabari, Po:- Joypara, Doha Municipality, Dhaka.
Bangladesh Cultural Liberation Party candidate Abdur Rahim, Zaker Party candidate Md Lufar Rahman Khan have withdrawn their nomination for Dhaka-1 Constituency.
