The open budget of Rupganj Upazila Parishad of Narayanganj has been announced. Upazila Parishad's open budget for the financial year 2024-25 was announced at a function organized at the Upazila Parishad Auditorium on Tuesday noon.

The budget of 21 crore 33 lakh 91 thousand 402 taka 40 paisa was announced in the budget discussion ceremony this year. This budget was announced by Rupganj Upazila Engineer Mehmud Murshed ul Al-Amin.

Golam Dastgir Gazi (Veerpratik), Member of Parliament for Narayanganj-1 Constituency and President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Textiles and Jute Ministry was the chief guest of the event.

In the speech of the chief guest Golam Dastgir Gazi said, "The amount of development that has taken place in all sectors of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has not been done by any government in the past. Bangladesh will become a developed and prosperous country by 2041. Sheikh Hasina government is working towards this goal.

He also said, 'Today, the country is developing because Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina is in power. Due to the visionary thinking and right leadership of the Prime Minister, Bangladesh has continued its development journey and is moving forward at a fast pace, overcoming many obstacles.
