RU Inter-Departmental Football Competition held, Psychology Department champions

Inter-departmental football competition 2024-25 finale and prize distribution was held at Rajshahi University.
Rajshahi University Stadium onTuesday (December 17) afternoon Bengali and Psychology Department students participated in the final game organized by Physical Education Department of Rajshahi University.
In this, Psychology Department defeated the Bengali department with 3-2 goals and became the champion. In the girls' football team, management studies beat physical education to become champions.
In the morning, the finance department defeated the physics department 11-10 in Tribecar in the third place match. Earlier, 58 teams from different Department of RU participated in this tournament which started from 11 November-24.
Under the chairmanship of RU inter-departmental games sub-committee president Professor Dr.
Md. Mostafizur Rahman Mandal, Rajshahi University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Saleh Hasan Naqeeb
was present as the chief guest.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Main Uddin, Professor Dr. Moh. Farid Uddin Khan and treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Motiar Rahman was present as a special guest. Rajshahi University Football Player Alumni Association President Professor Dr. Md. Nasim Reza was present as honorable guest. RU's Physical Education Department Director Md. Ahsan-ul-Alam delivered the welcome speech.
