Rice sack labelling must include variety, price from Sunday

The type of rice and mill gate price should be written on the sack of rice. The date of production, name, and location (district or upazila) of the manufacturing organisation should be mentioned. Even the weight information has to be stated.
The instruction will come into effect from 14 April (Sunday).
To this end, an instruction was issued from the relevant department of the food ministry 21 February, 2004.
