Responsibly of bringing votets to poling centres is on candidates : EC Anisur

Election Commissioner Md Anisur Rahman said that the responsibility of bringing voters is the responsibility of the candidates and the duty of the Election Commission is to maintain the environment.
On the occasion of the 12th National Assembly election on Tuesday afternoon, he said this in a a view exchange meeting with officials and people of all levels related to the election, including the contending candidates in the five constituencies of Chandpur district.
He said, voting is everyone's right. Candidates will engage the voters by adopting various strategies. Law enforcement forces including District Returning Officer and Superintendent of Police will work to keep the environment under control.
Regarding women not voting in a union in Chandpur's Faridganj upazila, the Election Commissioner said that there has been an incentive meeting with all the candidates. Deputy Commissioner and District Returning Officer Kamrul Hasan presided over the discussion meeting held at the District Commissioner's Conference Room, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Saiful Islam spoke.
At this time, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Gen) Md. Bashir Ahmed, Additional District Magistrate. SM Mosa, District Election Officer Mohammad Tofail Ahmed, Chandpur-3 (Sadar and Haimchar) constituencies nominated candidate Dr. Major Rafiqul Islam, the nominated candidate of Dipu Moni, Chandpur-5 (Hajiganj-Shahrasti) constituency, and other candidates and members of law and order forces were present.
