Reception to MP Gazi Enamul Haque by journalists, iftar Mahfil held at Monirampur Press Club

The Monirampur Press Club in Jessore's Monirampur welcomed the newly elected Member of Parliament and donor member of the Monirampur Press Club, Advocate Gazi Enamul Haque. Local political leaders, journalists, civil society representatives and dignitaries were present at the event held at the Press Club auditorium on Monday afternoon. The reception, held in a festive and cordial atmosphere, turned into a gathering of greetings, expectations and commitments.
The program was presided over by Press Club President SM Majnur Rahman. In his speech, he said that the people of Monirampur expect development, good governance and stability from the newly elected MP. He expressed hope that the journalist community will always play a constructive role in matters related to public interest, besides providing objective news and will be an associate in positive activities of the area.
The program was moderated by the General Secretary of the Press Club, Motahar Hossain. Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Assistant Professor Fazlul Haque, General Secretary Assistant Prof Khalilur Rahman, Nayebe Ameer Mohiul Islam, Liaqat Ali, Assistant Professor Ahsan Habib Liton, Shamim Akhter, Municipal Jamaat President Assistant Prof Abdul Bari and Press Club founding member Nisar Uddin Khan Azam and other leaders spoke as special guests. The speakers wished the newly elected MP well and called for effective and coordinated initiatives to solve the long-standing problems of Monirampur.
In his speech as the guest of honor, Advocate Gazi Enamul Haque expressed his gratitude to the people of Monirampur and said that the trust and love of the people have made his path more responsible. He expressed his firm commitment to develop Monirampur as a safe town free from terrorism, extortion and drugs. He also said that he would work in a planned manner by prioritizing education, healthcare, communication infrastructure development and employment creation.
At the end of the program, an Iftar Mahfil was organized on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Before the Iftar, special prayers were held for the welfare of the country, the nation and the people of Manirampur. All those present expressed the hope that through the reception and Iftar Mahfil, the bond of mutual cooperation, trust and friendship between the newly elected members of parliament and the journalist community would be further strengthened.
