A Reception programme and views exchange meeting held at Anilganj High School of Dakshin Surma Upazila of Sylhet on Thursday. Head master of Anilganj high School Md Shahnewaz presided over and assistant teacher Abul Kalam Azad conducted the programme.
Prominent philanthropist and educationist Barrister Nurul Huda Juned present the programme
as a chief guest. Md. Akhlakul Ambia Batin, former head teacher of the school, Md. Babul Mia, member of ward No. 3 of Jalalpur Union, spoke as special guests.
Among others, assistant headmaster Jaher Ahmad, assistant teacher Anwar Hossain and Moglabazar businessman Manjur Alam spoke. Munni Begum, a class 10 student, spoke on behalf of the students and Shahdeen Newaz Swadhin spoke in English.
Philanthropists Manik Mia, Matshir Ali, Riaz Mia, Abdur Rahim, Kanu Mia, Manai Mia, Siraj Mia, Liaquat Mia and Shanur Mia among others were present here.
Barrister Nurul Huda Junaid in the speech of the guest of honor said that the students of today are the future leaders of the nation of tomorrow. In the past student movement, our students have shown that they want to build a corruption-free Bangladesh without discrimination.
All of us should train students that way. Quality and quality education is necessary for this. My full cooperation will continue in this regard.
