The Office of Bangladesh Jamaat-e- Islami Rangpur City and Rangpur District has been reopened in the afternoon on 6 August 2024 gorgeously with the presence of thousands of leaders as well as workers at Shapla Chattar, Rangpur after around long 15 years.

Jamaat Central leader and Rangpur-Dinajpur Team Member Professor Mahbubar Rahman Belal was present as chief guest on the occasion. Rangpur City Amir ATM Azom Khan presided over the ceremony and Professor Anwarul Islam conducted the entire programme.

Professor Mahbubar Rahman Belal said his emotional speech that the vested Awami League government stopped our office forcefully using police and their party cadres. He also said that later Awami cadres looted our office and set fire in the office. As a result, Lots of the Qurans, Hadith and Islami literatures have been burnt. From that time our office was not usable.

He also said, “Vested Awami League chief wanted to vanish Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami imposing unbearable tortures. She killed our innocent leaders using his so-called domestic court. Our lots of Leaders and workers were sent in jail year after years. But by the grace of Allah, we are not vanished, Allah has kept our existence. He added that vested prime minister of Bangladesh has been flee away which was her ultimate god gifted punishment.”

Professor Mahbubar Rahman said that now some identified criminals are trying to damage the prayer rooms and properties of minority people of our country to impose guilty to Jamaat and Shibir. So, he cordially requested to the Jamaat and Shibir workers to open their eyes and ears and catch the culprits and hand over them to law enforcing agencies.

Jamaat leader Professor Nur Hossain, Professor Abul Hasem Badol, Profrssor Shah Jahan Siraji, Al Amin Hasan, Anwarul Islam Kazol, Rangpur City Shibir President Zakaria Hossain and others were present on the occasion.
