RAB DG distributed relief Metarials to flood victims in Sylhet

From distributing relief materials to providing medical aid, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) is working tirelessly in Sylhet to help the flood victims, Director General (DG) of RAB Additional IGP Barrister Md Harun Ar Rashid BPM has said.
“As long as the people of the districts are suffering for the calamity, we will continue our efforts to help them,” he told a media call after inspecting the elite force’s operations in the flood affected Jaintapur upazila in Sylhet districts on Monday.
He noted that the elite force had distributed dry and cooked food to the flood victims, and rescued several people by boat, who were marooned.
“If needed we will conduct rescue operations with helicopters too.
A medical team, under RAB-9, is also ready to assist the victims who have fallen ill due to the polluted floodwater,” the RAB chief added.
