Protest march demanding release of Jamaat leader in Munshiganj

A protest march and rally were organised by Munshiganj District Jamaat demanding the release of imprisoned leader ATM Azharul Islam, Central Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. This protest rally and rally was held in Munshiganj as part of the central programme.
The protest march started in front of the Munshiganj District Jamaat office (adjacent to Krishi Bank) at 3:30 pm on Tuesday.
Before the march started, a rally was held on a stage on a truck. Munshiganj District Jamaat Ameer AJM Ruhul Quddus spoke as the chief guest. District Nayeb Amir Maulana Muhammad Nurul Haque Patwari, District Secretary Maulana AKM Fakhr Uddin Raji, Munshiganj Sadar Upazila Amir Nurul Amin Sikder, District President of Islami Chhatra Shibir Md Mujahidul Islam, District President of Sramik Kalyan Federation Khidir Abdus Salam, Tongibari Upazila Amir Maulana Muhammad Abdul Bari, Munshiganj Municipality Amir HM Bayezid, Shibir District Secretary Md.
