Abdul Mannan, Acting Convener of the BNP's Western Region in Saudi Arabia and a member of the Noakhali District BNP, stated that only proper progress of the Women’s Reform Commission can ensure the rightful dignity of women.
He made this statement during a discussion meeting held at his residence in Ambarnagar Union, Sonaimuri, with leaders of the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal from the Noakhali-2 (Senbagh–part of Sonaimuri) constituency.
He added that BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia began working on women’s empowerment over 45 years ago. Women's development in Bangladesh started under her leadership.
