Poultry feed distributed among farmers of small ethnic groups in Kapasia

Under the Integrated Livestock Development Project, poultry feed has been distributed among farmers of small ethnic groups living in the plains in various unions of Kapasia Upazila of Gazipur to improve the quality of life.
On Sunday afternoon, poultry feed was distributed among 150 beneficiaries at the initiative of the Upazila Livestock Office and Veterinary Hospital.
District Livestock Officer Dr. Nargis Khanam, present as the chief guest at the Upazila Livestock Office premises, distributed 75 kg of poultry feed to each farmer in the area and 50 kg of poultry feed to each person.
The food distribution ceremony, chaired by Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. AKM Atiqur Rahman, was attended by Upazila Veterinary Surgeon Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun, Upazila BNP Youth Affairs Secretary Md. Aminur Rahman, Livestock Department Officer Md. Belayet Hossain, ATS Power Limited Director and Poultry Entrepreneur Md. Mahmudul Hasan, among others.
Earlier, 150 beneficiaries from small ethnic groups were provided with free-range poultry.
